UCLH: Challenges in MPN - Nursing
This study day has been designed specifically for Clinical Nurse Specialists working with patients living with myeloproliferative neoplasms and will explore some of the key challenges faced in contemporary MPN care. Topics will include MPN disease overview, fatigue management, psychological support for patients living with a chronic blood cancer, developing patient support groups, community and palliative care services, management of the complex older adult, and remote monitoring models. The day will provide an opportunity to hear from expert speakers, share best practice, discuss challenges faced within different services, and network with colleagues from across the UK. Interactive group work sessions will encourage collaboration and the exchange of ideas to support improvements in patient care. We look forward to welcoming you for what promises to be an informative, practical and engaging day. A £15 registration fee will apply to help cover costs. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. We anticipate an enjoyable and valuable opportunity to share experiences and connect with colleagues across the speciality. CPD accreditation has been applied for.
