Oesophageal Physiology Virtual Symposium 2026 Image

Day 1 establishes the core principles of oesophageal physiology testing, covering a structured approach to investigating benign oesophageal disorders. Through practical interpretation and clinical case discussion, participants will develop confidence in recognising normal and abnormal findings, understanding common artefacts and applying results to the management of motility disorders, reflux and laryngopharyngeal symptoms.

Day 2 explores advanced diagnostic techniques and their role in complex oesophageal disorders. Participants will consider how provocative testing in HRM, prolonged wireless pH monitoring and EndoFLIP can refine diagnosis, before integrating physiological findings with medical and behavioural approaches to develop effective, patient-centred management plans.
