Please note that you need to have previously completed the basic course before doing the advanced. You will need to provide a certificate before you are accepted, please send this to [email protected] after completing payment.

Full attendance on all 4 days is required. Lectures will alternate with exercises in small groups with video presentations.

Basic and Advanced Course:

- £1,200 early bird (Ends on 30th January 2027)

- £1,400 standard rate

Applications Now Open: Christa Einspieler Bursary 2027

This bursary has been established in memory of Professor Christa Einspieler, whose
pioneering work helped transform the field of infant neurodevelopmental assessment and
whose contribution to the international development of the General Movements Assessment
has benefited countless infants, families and professionals worldwide.

In recognition of Christa's extraordinary legacy, the bursary will provide two course places on
the London GMA Course, directed by Dr Audrienne Sammut and Betty Hutchon:

• One place on either the Basic or Advanced General Movements Assessment Course.
• One place on either the Basic or Advanced General Movements Assessment Course for
an applicant from a low- or middle-income country.

Selection Criteria
Applications will be reviewed by an independent panel. 

Awards will be made based on:
• Clinical or professional commitment to infant neurodevelopmental care.
• Clear motivation for undertaking GMA training.
• Potential impact of the training on clinical practice.
• Potential to improve outcomes for infants and families.
• For the low- or middle-income country bursary, additional consideration will be given to the
likely impact of the training in strengthening local or regional neurodevelopmental
assessment capacity.
