We’ve made a great start. Let’s build on it, now.

As you know, Margaret’s Final Campaign was to raise the funds to enable the clinical trials that would find a cure for glioblastoma brain cancer. She started it almost as soon as she received her diagnosis and she carried on right up to the end. Now we are going to win her Final Campaign for her.

We have made a fantastic start, and together, we have already raised £2 million. That has led to the successful launch of our first round of trials, under the pioneering eye of Dr Paul Mulholland. But this is just the first important step towards a cure, and we now need to raise £600,000 towards the second phase of the trials.

The idea of a cure for glioblastoma was once unthinkable. But now we have hope.

We saw that hope embodied by Ben Trotman at the 2024 dinner. Thanks to the research we are funding, there is a now the chance for people who have been diagnosed to go on and thrive if we can prove a cure is possible. That’s why we need to run the clinical trials that will show that Ben’s success is replicable. And we need to do it urgently. A lot of people and their families are depending on our success.

To help us raise the money needed to secure our success we are excited to be holding Margaret’s Dinner 2026 on Monday 8 June, the second gathering of supporters who want to ensure our trials can continue and a cure is found. We are thrilled that a keynote speaker for the evening will be Rt Hon West Streeting MP.

Guests will enjoy a three-course meal in a prestigious central London venue. Bookings are now open for tables only and are subject to availability, so please do book early.

Tables host nine guests plus a special host who will be appointed to your table. They are priced at £15,000/£10,000/£7,5000 and can be bought online here or paid for by BACS. Please email info@margaretsfinalcampaign.org

All profits raised from the event will fund the essential drug trials needed to find a cure for this terrible disease and give hope to so many others. 

You know that Margaret would never give up, and nor will we. We haven’t forgotten her or her legacy, and we will keep going until we have raised the money to find and prove a cure.

We have made a fantastic start, and I know that together we can be successful in winning Margaret’s Final Campaign and find the cure for glioblastoma. Thank you for your support to me and for your help so far.
