BANNFU Study Day
Early Identification. Early Action. Better Outcomes. This multi-professional study day will explore key topics in the neurodevelopmental follow-up of preterm and sick newborn babies, with lectures from experts in a variety of disciplines. The day combines clinical insight and hands-on learning to strengthen early identification, assessment, and evidence-based intervention.

- Early predictors of long-term outcome
- Early neurodevelopmental markers of autism including behavioural indicators
- Practical workshop (face-to-face delegates only) Professor Frances Cowan and her specialist team will lead an interactive workshop on the Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination (HINE). Participants will have the opportunity to observe, practise, and develop confidence in applying this essential early neurological assessment tool.
Suitable for any professional involved in the care of babies in neonatal units and / or their long-term management and follow-up, including:
