Adult congenital Heart Disease Echo Study Day Program

Aim : 

The course is aimed at providing participants with an understanding of the role of transthoracic echocardiogram in the assessment of adult congenital heart disease patients. The course will benefit everyone however it is particularly intended for cardiac physiologists and cardiologists with either special interest in ACHD or those in general hospitals who do not have adult congenital heart disease training but are looking to enhance their skills to improve care of ACHD patients locally. At the end of the course, the participants will have acquired knowledge of physiology and anatomy of common congenital cardiac lesions, cardiac surgical techniques and technical aspects of the adult congenital transthoracic echocardiogram.
