Dizziness: A Multidisciplinary Approach

A four-day instructional course aimed for physicians, surgeons, scientists, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals who evaluate, diagnose and manage patients with dizziness and/or imbalance. The course is run by an international, multidisciplinary faculty, which includes both highly experienced clinicians and researchers.

The course will include lectures on:
• Vestibular Science – theory and how to use tests to support diagnosis
• Common and Uncommon Vestibular Disorders – multidisciplinary, evidence based practice with illustrative case studies
• Vestibular Rehabilitation– theory, practice and research update
• New Scientific Developments in the Vestibular Field– research update

This course will include practical workshops as follows:
• Open House – Opportunity to experience and administer diagnostic assessments, positional assessments and manoeuvers that interest you
• Sponsor Exhibitions – Opportunity to trial latest equipment

Date: Tuesday 11th to Friday 14th June 2019
Attendance fee: Consultants (Medical/Non Medical): 4 days £850. All others: 4 days £550. Single day: £220 (all)
Venue: Queen Square Lecture Theatre, 33 Queen Square, WC1N 3BG London UK (lectures) and Royal National Throat Nose Ear Hospital, 330 Gray’s Inn Road, London WC1X 8DA (practical Workshop)
Teaching level: Intermediate to advanced. The course will be best suited to those who have an initial understanding of the vestibular field and will serve as an update and refresher course to those with an advanced knowledge of the vestibular field. Some pre course reading will be made available via this website.
