HRM Symposium

Upper GI Physiology is one of the few areas of medicine that remain both a science and an art. This course will cover the most up-to-date evidence in investigating and treating patients presenting with oesophageal functional disorders.

The fundamentals of High Resolution Manometry will be described with an emphasis on the new iteration of Chicago Classification v4.0, including all provocative testing. Further, to replicate the 'hands on' experience, step by step analysis of High Resolution Manometry traces will be provided, ranging from simple to more complex and nuanced cases, with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
